Amanda Harrington is a recent graduate of Plymouth State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Music. During the academic year 2014-2015, Amanda was awarded the Choral Fellowship with Dan Perkins, and was the Assistant Music Director for the Manchester Choral Society.
She has been a guest music director for theatre productions at PSU, while in school as well as after graduation. Amanda has also participated in University Chorale, Chamber Singers, the NH Master Chorale, as well as music directed the school’s all-female a cappella group, Mixed Emotions.
Amanda has also acted as Vice-President for the school’s chapters of the National Association for Music Educators as well as the American Choral Directors Association. In the past, Amanda has studied with Chamber Singers in Southern California, Chile, Baltimore and Washington DC. She has participated in PSU’s theatre productions as well as music directed and assistant music directed, and was the Assistant Box Office Manager for The Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH.
Currently Amanda teaches chorus and music theatre at Cyrus Peirce Middle School. At NMC, she teaches voice and conducts the Community Chorus.
